The Little Black Pug Bar is an award-winning free house pub famed for its warm welcome and great atmosphere. Set in a former catholic school dating back to 1888, the venue has been given a modern makeover while retaining its historic character and charm. Our team of friendly staff can help you choose from over 200 malts, over 60 gins & over 40 vodkas.
We specialise in free live entertainment – both day and night. Every weekend there is top class music and DJ’s to enjoy, from solo singers to 10-piece bands in all kinds of musical genres.
Our popular food menu features homemade pub classics all made with locally sourced produce. Everyone is welcome at The Pug – we are dog and family friendly. Come and find out why we are one of the best-loved bars in Blackpool.

EVENTS
Here at the Little Black Pug Bar, we are passionate about live music. Every weekend you can enjoy a great line-up of acts covering all sorts of musical genres. There are live singers and DJ’s playing throughout the day and night with at least one band every month.
All acts are free apart from our charity nights which we hold a few times a year to raise money for local charities.
Our Northern Soul Weekenders are legendary and attract visitors from across the UK. We hold four events throughout the year – one in March, two in June and one in November. Dates are tbc. Check out our Facebook page for the latest updates.
Function Room
